Download the file Sonic_The_Hedgehog_1990_Prototype_1.zip and save it to your computer.

Extraction
Unzip the entire ZIP file
Right-click on the file → Extract all... Choose a folder and extract the entire contents. It is important to extract all files, not just the .exe.
⚠ Do not run the .exe from inside the ZIP file without extracting it — the game will not work correctly.

Play!
Open STH1990PROTOTYPE1.exe.
Go to the STH1990PROTOTYPE1 folder and double-click STH1990PROTOTYPE1.exe to launch the game. That's it, Sonic starts right away!
